Hi, I’m Emily Thompson, an experienced math teacher and tutor for grades 6-12, as well as college-level math.

I’ve been tutoring since high school, all the way through graduate school. I believe in a standards-based, problem-solving approach to mathematics instruction, and I am passionate about making math understandable and enjoyable to all students.

60-minute session combining direct teaching and practice to reinforce priority standards being taught in school, as well as assistance with school assignments.

30-minute or 60-minute session preparing for high stakes tests, including:
